PAW exists for you.

Alumni engage with students in various ways and share their career insights, successes, challenges, and pride they have for FIU.

This is a great way to hear stories from alumni, build mentorship and internship connections, and create advocates for yourself, locally and globally. 

Whether you are looking for an internship, going to graduate school, searching for a full-time job or anything in between, this program is for you. Perhaps you’re unsure what you want to do after graduation. Hey, 4 years is a long time! What better way to brainstorm than to connect with successful alumni. The best part? All you have to do is show up!

We are bringing professional alumni to you –  and you don’t have to go anywhere. It’s on campus. It’s online. It’s a week-long program with events, panels, in-person and virtual networking meet ups.

Even better: You can host your own PAW event!

This is the perfect opportunity to find and connect with FIU alumni who inspire you. LinkedIn is a great way to start. Tell them about PAW. Let them know you’d love to see and hear from them on campus (we can help you figure out what to say). Even if they can’t make the event, you’ve just opened the door to a new professional relationship with a fellow Panther!

  • Invite alumni to speak to your student organization - Connect your peers with alumni to cultivate new connections. Need an alum? We've got you covered. 
  • Attend events held by your school/college - Many schools and colleges create engaging events for students and alumni during PAW. Check the "Events" tab.
  • Watch alumni present during a webinar or Google Hangout - Industry leaders, career experts and notable alumni present webinars to the FIU community. Topics can be career or job search related, best practices or industry trends in your field, or informational interview format.
  • Host your own PAW event!  Let us know on this form.
  • Join the PAW Student Commitee, let your voice be heard and make a difference on campus. Learn more.

  • Meet alumni at the PAW Networking events online or in-person. Engage with FIU alumni at the PAW Networking Events to get connected with people in your field and enjoy an afternoon of networking, free food, and giveaways.
